They are commonly used for heavier items, varied product sizes and where overhead space is used to maximize space utilization.

They are ideally suited for warehousing and order picking operations, and can optionally be configured to allow loads to enter or exit at intermediate elevations. Thier modular design makes it simple to field modify and can be repurposed to adapt to line changes or technology upgrades. Their induction and diver capabilities at intermediate levels allows them to be incorporated into vertical sortation systems and cold storage operations.
