Panel Built Modular Office Walls Offer Endless Office Configurations

Using a panelized wall system, Panel Built, Inc. offers modular offices that can be laid out exactly as the customer specifies.

Panel Built Modular Office Walls Offer Endless Office Configurations

Panel Built's modular office systems go far beyond the standard rectangular boxes that most people imagine when they think of "modular." That is because Panel Built utilizes panel and binder post wall system that allows for each panel to be attached however you see fit, meaning the number of possible configurations is limitless. For example, a standard modular office customer might be interested in providing a single office room to house a supervisor's office. In that scenario, a 10ft by 12ft rectangle could be the best option. However, in other cases Panel Built has been tasked with building out entire offices inside a pre-manufactured metal building. These projects can sometimes require thousands of feet of wall panels to completely fill out the building with a single wall system connecting dozens of individual offices.

In order for Panel Built's modular office walls to fit into a variety of environments, Panel Built offers a wide range of materials of which the panel can be made. For industrial environments, Panel Built often provides a vinyl covered gypsum panel that offers quality sound and fire protection. Or, if the facility has a lot of dust as a byproduct of their manufacturing process, Panel Built can provide a steel skinned office that can be easily cleaned. However, Panel Built frequently installs their modular office walls into commercial, education, or even healthcare facilities. In these areas, they can require a certain contemporary look. For these projects, Panel Built can outfit their panels with a custom surfacing to give the wall system and sleek and stylish look.

Panel Built was founded in 1995 by brothers Pat and Mike Kiernan, and began with the construction of pre-manufactured buildings. Today, Panel Built offers a complete line of custom modular offices, mezzanines, security booths, pre-assembled exterior buildings, and cleanrooms. All our multiple product lines are produced on site, in four state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. We offer "A Better Way to Create Space" for all of your building projects.

Australian supermarket chain rolls out AI-powered grocery carts

Grocery shoppers in Australia will soon be able to zip in and out of the store in record time, bypassing the lines for cashiers or self-checkout kiosks altogether. They can just walk in, make their selections, and walk out with their bags in hand.

The secret to this express shopping experience is the “Caper Cart,” an AI (artificial intelligence)-powered smart trolley from San Francisco-based Instacart. In its first deployment in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, the system is being tested by Coles Supermarkets, a food and beverage retailer with more than 1,800 grocery and liquor stores throughout the country.

How green is your glue?

If you’re looking to make the packaging process more eco-friendly, the obvious place to start is with the box itself. And that’s exactly what Salt Lake City-based Packsize did when it made its initial foray into sustainable packaging back in 2002. That year, the company launched its first product, an innovative on-demand packaging system designed to reduce cardboard waste (and the need for filler material) by creating a right-sized box for each shipment.

Now the company is ready for the next step: greening up the glue.
