READING, PA (September 20, 2018) - Fortna®, The Distribution Experts®, today announced an upcoming webcast to be presented by two leading authorities on warehouse execution systems and pull-driven fulfillment. "Create Agile Distribution Operations with Pull-driven Order Fulfillment" will be presented in conjunction with Modern Materials Handling on October 4, 2018.

Led by Fortna's Russ Meller, Vice President, Solution Design and Research & Development and Roger Counihan, Vice President, Sales, this webcast will enable attendees to learn how pull-driven order fulfillment offers unprecedented flexibility and delivers lower order cycle times, increased service levels and potential cost savings.

"Pull-driven order fulfillment, enabled by advanced Warehouse Execution Systems, can improve responsiveness, lower order cycle times, increase worker productivity, and require less capital investment," said Meller. "In this webcast we compare push vs pull-driven fulfillment and demonstrate measurable performance differences between the two operating methods as a case study," added Counihan.

Highlights of the webcast will include learning the value of and key differences between pull-driven fulfillment and traditional push distribution operations and the role of warehouse execution systems in pull-driven fulfillment.
