2024 marks a significant milestone in the company's rich history. Prior to Equipment Depot's rebranding and name change in 1995, the company was formally known as Central Texas Clarklift. In 2000, Pon Holdings, the largest privately held company in the Netherlands, purchased Equipment Depot. It was acquired again in 2019 by Mitsubishi Logisnext North America, which is owned by the world's third largest material handling group, Mitsubishi Logisnext. Soon after, Equipment Depot purchased Southern California Material Handling (SCMH), founded in 1939. SCMH became the company's oldest legacy branch, establishing Equipment Depot's combined years of serving customers.
