Jaw Crusher Lubrication Knowledge Analysis

Jaw crusher is a commonly used crusher equipment. We all know that its working environment and material characteristics have a certain impact on the service life of the equipment. Therefore, the maintenance work during the operation of the jaw crusher must be carried out in strict accordance with the operation process, so that its life can be longer. Jaw crusher is the primary crushing equipment for various ores, so operators are required to have good operating capabilities. At work, how to choose to add grease is an important operation, which is one of the things that operators must pay attention to.

1, the choice of lubricants

Jaw crusher equipment works in different environments and requires different lubricants. In the summer, the outdoor temperature is relatively high, so you can use the No. 70 mechanical oil, while the outdoor temperature in winter is low. When the jaw crusher needs continuous work, there is a heating device in winter, which can preheat the lubricating oil. When the ambient temperature is not too high in summer, you can use the No. 50 oil as the lubricating oil.

2, the way of lubrication

Since the large and medium jaw crusher bearings and the eccentric shaft are pressure cycle lubrication, when the oil pump fails, the jaw crusher needs to swing the power for 15-20 minutes to stop, so it is necessary to press the oil pump to apply oil to the bearing. Keeping it lubricated, there is no accident of burning the bearing.

3. Lubrication time

The jaw crusher has different lubrication points, and its lubrication requirements are different, and there are differences in terms of time. For example, the jaw crusher's dynamic suspension shaft bearing and the thrust plate elbow are lubricated without oil return, so intermittent grease is required. The bearing of the small jaw-type crushing motorized suspension shaft adopts the oil cup and lubricating oil, so it can be used once in 30-40min. The elbow of the thrust plate is lubricated with thick oil and needs to be lubricated every 3-4h.

4, the temperature of lubrication

There is also the temperature of the jaw crusher lubricant, we must also pay attention. In the use of the jaw crusher thin oil system, the temperature of the oil return should not exceed 60 degrees. When the temperature is too high, we need to adjust the oil flow by adjusting the oil valve or use water cooling to reduce the temperature. This will ensure the work of its production.
