Logistyx Technologies Honored with FedEx Diamond and Platinum Tier Awards for 2020

Awarded by FedEx as a provider for both Diamond and Platinum certifications, Logistyx continues to build upon prior success to improve performance and capabilities for the world's top shippers

Chicago - (January 24, 2020) - Logistyx Technologies (www.logistyx.com), the leader in transportation management for parcel shipping, today announced it has secured both FedEx Compatible Diamond and Platinum Tier Awards for 2020. Selection criteria of the awards include customer compliance; year-over-year growth in volume, revenues and customer installations; and maintaining annual software certifications.

"Being awarded with both Diamond and Platinum Tier status by FedEx, one of the world's most recognized carriers, affirms Logistyx's mission to provide best-of-breed solutions that meet customer needs," said Logistyx CEO Geoffrey Finlay. "Partnering with elite carriers like FedEx helps Logistyx provide a complete and customized supply chain solution that empowers customers to make smarter global shipping decisions to improve customer service and cut costs."

Designed to help organizations identify qualified, third-party shipping solutions, The FedEx Compatible Solution program requires software developers be up to date on current software for FedEx Ship Manager Server or FedEx Web Services and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. FedEx only awards Diamond Tier to solution providers demonstrating years of compatible integrations with the latest FedEx technologies and FedEx Services. Platinum Tier status is awarded to solutions that have demonstrated a high degree of capability and customer experience and solutions.

Awarded by FedEx as a provider for both Diamond and Platinum certifications, Logistyx continues to build upon prior success to improve performance and capabilities for the world's top retailers, manufacturers, distributors and third-party logistics providers. Maintaining direct integrations with FedEx and many other global carriers, Logistyx combines these in its multi-carrier parcel shipping software to provide more than 8,500 carrier services.

To better serve the world's largest shippers, Logistyx recently completed its integration with FedEx FUSE, a part of the FedEx Compatible Solution program available exclusively to high-volume FedEx shippers. FedEx FUSE installations offer high-volume shippers local rating engines that provide faster access than separate systems or other external web services. FUSE installations house critical system components locally for superior performance, including the system's data, code, configuration and rate management capabilities.

Australian supermarket chain rolls out AI-powered grocery carts

Grocery shoppers in Australia will soon be able to zip in and out of the store in record time, bypassing the lines for cashiers or self-checkout kiosks altogether. They can just walk in, make their selections, and walk out with their bags in hand.

The secret to this express shopping experience is the “Caper Cart,” an AI (artificial intelligence)-powered smart trolley from San Francisco-based Instacart. In its first deployment in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, the system is being tested by Coles Supermarkets, a food and beverage retailer with more than 1,800 grocery and liquor stores throughout the country.

How green is your glue?

If you’re looking to make the packaging process more eco-friendly, the obvious place to start is with the box itself.
