Fleet Advantage Senior Vice President of Fleet Solutions Al Barner to Discuss Equipment Lifecycle St

Session Will Address How Savvy Fleets Can Save Millions by Adjusting Equipment Lifecycles

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (November 13, 2019) - Fleet Advantage, a leading innovator in truck fleet business analytics, equipment financing, and lifecycle cost management today announced that Senior Vice President of Fleet Solutions, Al Barner, CTP, is presenting at this year's CCJ Solutions Summit conference at The Westin Kierland in Scottsdale, AZ. Barner's session: Trade Policies: Hone Your Equipment Life Cycle Program to Improve Your Bottom Line is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 9:00 a.m. MST.

Savvy transportation fleets spare no expense in evaluating tractor makes and models that best fit their operations and keep their costs low. However, knowing when to replace that equipment can be just as important to ensure fleets are not leaving money on the table. The session will cover how to adjust equipment lifecycles to take advantage of market conditions and recoup as much as possible from the initial investment.

Barner will also discuss how fleets are now paying closer attention to the lifecycle of each individual truck. Elements such as the cost of fuel, utilization, finance costs, market conditions, maintenance and repair all impact a truck's unique lifecycle, giving fleet operations personnel and finance departments better insights based on data and analytics into determining and calculating the best time to replace an aging truck.

Al Barner is a Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) and possesses 20 years of industry experience. He is responsible for providing tailored lifecycle asset management and financing solutions for Class 8 tractors and trailers. "Optimizing asset management to capture savings is essential to many fleets' business models, helping them to gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace," said Barner.

The Commercial Carrier Journal Solutions Summit (CCJ) is a commercial trucking fleet conference designed to deliver solutions to fleet's most pressing issues. Trucking is facing its most prosperous climate ever. At the Symposium, fleets can discuss ways to stay prosperous even when the climate turns poor with other like-minded business leaders. The CCJ Solutions Summit hosts the most successful fleets in American to develop innovative solutions to help fleets stay competitive in an evolving industry.
