Joe joins the PULSE Integration family with 30+ years' experience in installation, design, and inspection of industrial, process, material handling and building control systems. He has overseen complex project management of plant and production systems within various industrial applications and possesses strong technical leadership abilities to support capital installation and retrofit projects.

Joe has held numerous leadership positions to include: Electrical Maintenance Supervisor for Cascades Tissue Group, Project Manager for LCE, Rig Electrician for Precision Drilling, and was the Vice President for the Board of Fire Underwriters. Joe has also been an instructor at the Fortis Institute for Electrical Trades and Project Manager/Electrical Foreman for Fiorello Electric Inc. He most recently held the position of Lead Customer Service Technician for Honeywell Intelligrated.

Joe holds numerous trade certifications and licenses throughout the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. Joe's experience in installation and inspection will greatly aid PULSE Integration in our new installation business opportunities. PULSE Integration proudly welcomes Jeff to the team as an integral asset now and in future endeavors.

Australian supermarket chain rolls out AI-powered grocery carts

Grocery shoppers in Australia will soon be able to zip in and out of the store in record time, bypassing the lines for cashiers or self-checkout kiosks altogether. They can just walk in, make their selections, and walk out with their bags in hand.

The secret to this express shopping experience is the “Caper Cart,” an AI (artificial intelligence)-powered smart trolley from San Francisco-based Instacart. In its first deployment in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, the system is being tested by Coles Supermarkets, a food and beverage retailer with more than 1,800 grocery and liquor stores throughout the country.
