Schneider launches instant load-booking feature for third-party carriers

Automated tool allows carriers to book loads via Load My Truck platform and other load boards, company says.

Truckload and logistics provider Schneider has launched an automated tool that streamlines load booking for third-party carriers, the company said Monday.

The new instant load-booking feature allows Schneider's third-party carriers to spend less time finding and securing the right load, company officials said. Carriers can book loads at the click of a button and receive negotiation-free, real-time rates, the company also said. The feature is available on Scheider's Load My Truck platform, the company's free online load board, as well as other load boards, including TruckStop.com and Trucker Tools.


"Automated load booking offers a seamless, transparent experience for carriers and their drivers to maximize their time actually moving freight and booking revenue,"  Erin Van Zeeland, group senior vice president of Schneider Logistics Services, said in a statement announcing the tool.

Green Bay, Wis.-based Schneider provides trucking, intermodal, and logisitics services.
