There's no one type of packaging material that's ideal for every kind of carton a company ships. Paper is great for void fill but does not cushion as well as protective pads. Air pillows are ideal for block and brace, but protective pads yield better shock protection. Often a better solution is to combine the best characteristics from a number of packaging products. This allows customers to eliminate virtually all of their custom packaging to save both time and money.

Storopack offers a range of hybrid packaging solutions. These include a combination of different types of cushioning and void-fill products incorporating the best attributes of the various packaging methods, such as air pillows and protective pads to achieve "fit for purpose" packaging. A hybrid solution provides proper cushioning whether the product is being shipped across the plant or around the world.

Companies that have switched to hybrid packaging report faster packing times. For instance, a Venetian blind manufacturer reduced its per-piece packaging time from two minutes to 45 seconds. This allows it to ship more packagers per year, and led the company to standardize on a single carton size. Damage claims have been virtually eliminated with the adoption of fit-for-purpose packaging.

Hybrid packaging eliminates costly misapplication of packaging materials by putting protection only where it is needed. This allows shippers to save on materials, handling, and shipping.

Sealed precision ball bearings are also now standard in all wheels, contributing to the maintenance-free performance of the series. Notably, the zerk fittings have been eliminated, as the new design makes them unnecessary.
Complementing the ZFSEC series, Hamilton introduces the all-new Spinfinity® Super Endurance Dual Wheel Caster (ZFSEC2) series. This dual wheel series is engineered for extra heavy-duty applications where stability, durability, and maintenance-free operation are paramount. Like its counterpart, the ZFSEC2 series leverages the new 'V-Style' seal, ensuring that each caster is fully protected against contaminants that could compromise performance.
Combined with sealed precision ball wheel bearings, this caster series ensures zero-fix, 100% maintenance-free performance. The dual-wheel configuration enhances stability and allows for a lower overall height, offering a perfect blend of strength and maneuverability.
Casters in both series are finished in a durable HAA polyester platinum powder coat and are available in a wide variety of wheel types, allowing for customization based on application needs.
