Landoll Corp., the manufacturer of Bendi articulating narrow-aisle forklifts, is offering a new range of four-wheel electric multi-purpose trucks. These rearwheel-driven articulating forklifts store standard pallets in aisles from 1.8 to 2.13 meters wide, depending on model and lift height.
The new units feature a Curtis control system consisting of separately excited traction controls, a hydraulic controller, a foot accelerator, and a DC-to-DC converter. The new control systems are easily programmed for specific customers' needs, regardless of application. Four new models are available with the new control system: B30SE, B40SE, B45SE, and B45SE/HL. Capacities at a 24-inch load center are 3,000, 4,000, and 4,500 pounds. Lift heights are available up to 433 inches.
The vehicles also feature an extended motor life, optimized power usage, and regenerative braking. A ramp restraint safety feature automatically limits its speed down ramps. The trucks also have a selectable Economy Mode that can increase the singlecharge run time by 25 percent.
Landoll also manufactures the Bendi B3, a three-wheel electric vehicle with a single front wheel. This truck also features a separately excited traction motor and a Curtis separately excited traction controller. There is also an LP (liquefied petroleum) gas version available.
