Dematic Corp. introduces the C-L200 model to the company's CL series of package conveyors. The C-L200 is an AC variable speed drive platform designed for longer-distance conveyor runs. C-L200 products are available in belt on roller, belt on slider bed, and roller accumulation versions. The belt conveying surfaces allow the units to convey a wide array of items once thought to be difficult to convey, providing increased throughput, improved non-contact accumulation, less potential for jams, more flexibility and higher productivity.
This modular low-voltage motorized conveyor system seamlessly blends with AC drive technology. The combination of low voltage found in the C-L100 conveyors and AC drives in the C-L200 gives users the benefits of both drive technologies in a single integrated system. The C-L series offers Plug & Convey performance. Each section of conveyor is a selfcontained module with its own onboard controls, networked communications and mechanical components, making it ready for fast, onsite configuration and quick startup.
As a modular conveyor solution, the C-L series package conveyor offers a much lower total cost of ownership than conventional conveyor systems. The C-L series uses up to 65 percent fewer unique spare parts and its "run on demand" feature requires up to 30 percent less power consumption. Combined with the reduced maintenance labor needed for the C-L series, the result is increased performance and higher system throughput, with lower associated costs.
