Omnichain Shortlisted for Best SaaS Product for Supply Chain Management in the 2019 SaaS Awards

Omnichain was named a finalist for bringing to market the first supply chain management platform built using distributed ledger technology and available through a SaaS model

Omnichain Shortlisted for Best SaaS Product for Supply Chain Management in the 2019 SaaS Awards

LOS ANGELES—Aug. 13, 2019—Omnichain Solutions (Omnichain), an enterprise focused on supply chain management solutions powered by blockchain, announces it has been named a finalist in the Best SaaS Product for Supply Chain or Warehouse Management category in the 2019 Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Awards. The company was recognized for its Omnichain Full Circle platform, the first supply chain management platform built using distributed ledger technology and available through a SaaS model.

The Omnichain Full Circle platform provides brands and retailers with a permanent, decentralized ledger of all goods movement, inventory and transactions across the supply chain. Data flows seamlessly, providing visibility into what is being manufactured, shipped and sold in real time. Using proprietary, intelligent planning algorithms and business rules, users can then accurately forecast at the SKU and planogram levels, enabling their companies to proactively meet demand, optimize production planning, replenishment and fulfillment, and increase profitability.

Pratik Soni, co-founder and CEO, Omnichain, said, "Most supply chain management solutions available today require substantial investments and involve lengthy deployments. Through a SaaS—or blockchain-as-a-service (BaaS)—model, we make it easy and affordable for companies to connect their supply chains and access critical business data through any device with an internet browser. BaaS also enables faster, under 90-day deployments and scalability as a business grows. Perhaps most importantly, BaaS democratizes blockchain so that more organizations can reap the benefits of a distributed ledger."

SaaS Awards and Cloud Awards organizer, Larry Johnson, said, "The standard of entries this year was incredibly high, with consistent attention to innovation and most importantly, customer success. The volume of entries warranting consideration of a place on the coveted shortlist was unprecedented. In our fourth year promoting SaaS exclusively alongside its sister awards program, the Cloud Awards, we have again seen a wide range of entries from Canada, Europe, Australia and the East joining those from the US. Moreover, again we are seeing such innovation from established blue-chips to agile start-ups. All seek to provide essential productivity tools to their users by leveraging cloud-based software solutions. The judges are set to have a nearly impossible task when selecting the final winners in a few short weeks."

The Final SaaS Awards winners will be announced on Sept. 3, 2019. Over 400 organizations entered, with international entries coming from North America, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Middle East.
