PDR LAUNCHES BOUTIQUE BEAUTY BUSINESS AND LA LOCATION, NAMED PREFERRED VENDOR FOR INDIE BEAUTY EXPO

NJ-Headquartered Warehouse and Distribution Company Expands with New Offerings and Los Angeles Facility/Offices

Edison, NJ - Packaging Distribution Resources (PDR), a New Jersey-based warehouse and distribution company that serves the direct response, cosmetics, personal care, and consumer packaged goods industries, announces the opening of a new West Coast operation, as well as a preferred vendor partnership with Indie Beauty Expo (IBE). IBE helps independent beauty brands showcase their products, heighten exposure, and grow sales and distribution.

PDR's new warehouse, located in Commerce, CA with easy access to the Long Beach Piers and less than an hour from Downtown Los Angeles, is 22,000 square feet and can expand to 125,000 square ft. This location allows PDR to provide clients on the West Coast with its core services: warehouse management/storage; inventory control including shipping, receiving, and return processing; distribution (regional, national, and international fulfillment solutions); and back-office solutions such as accounting and supply chain management services.

"Having operations on both coasts will help us take our concierge services to the next level, aiding our customers with even greater speed to market and product availability. Our client-partners' e-commerce inventories will now be stored closer to their retail and e-tail customers for more efficient delivery times and cost-effective logistics," said Jack Sandbach, Founder and CEO of PDR. "With this expansion, PDR also becomes an asset to international brands that want to launch in the U.S."

One of PDR's specialty services for the beauty industry is assembly of product packaging such as holiday promotion gift sets, display kits, and product launch preparation. As a result, the company will provide pick and pack warehouse services to Indie Beauty Expo (IBE) utilizing its large production areas for kit assembly.

"Our new partnership with IBE is a great opportunity as indie brands are among the fastest growing product categories and are incredibly popular with retailers as well as consumers," said James Kaniuk, who was recently hired as PDR's director of sales and has extensive knowledge and experience in the beauty industry. "Our expertise of assembly and kitting is a perfect solution for up-and-coming beauty brands; helping them solve an array of challenges so they can flourish and achieve the entrepreneurial dream is our focus and the value we bring."

PDR is also a preferred assembly facility for Home Shopping Network (HSN) and QVC and continuously serve QVC UK, QVC Germany, TVSN in Australia, ShopNBC and The Shopping Channel in Canada. In addition, the company is the go-to assembly and mailing services company for flash sales such as deals segments on "Good Morning America" and "The View" as well as subscription box companies like Ipsy and Fun Fab Fit.

With clients such as Blue Mercury, Nest and Tocca, the company also works with major and mass retailers, mom and pop brands, salons, online retailers and travel retail, shipping to over 50 countries.

PDR has three locations in Edison, NJ including a main warehouse, boutique warehouse, and a storage facility. The main warehouse is 139,000 square feet of space with 36-foot-high ceilings and 10 assembly lines to service the needs of their current and future clients. In business since 2003, within the next 12-18 months PDR plans to expand into such additional categories as pet products, home goods, supplements, and toys. The company has developed a plan to nearly double its size in the next few years.
