Navis Hires New General Manager and Vice President of APAC

Simon Doughty will lead the overall business strategy and execution in this region

Navis, a part of Cargotec Corporation and provider of operational
technologies and services that unlock greater performance and efficiency for the world's leading organizations across the shipping supply chain, has announced that they have appointed maritime industry veteran Simon Doughty as the General Manager and Vice President for the APAC region.

Doughty had previously served as the CEO of Hong Kong based Wallem Group and brings over 30 years' experience in international business management, leading transportation organizations in Asia, the Americas, Middle East and Europe. Doughty has a proven track record of driving top and bottom line growth through efficient operations, work processes and technology in the maritime industry and has had
experience in supporting the complete lifecycle of the vessel from newbuilding to end-of-life recycling guidance.

Along with the appointment of Doughty, Mark Welles, who previously held this title, will move to the strategic role of VP Global Partnerships where he will play an active role in maintaining key global
partnerships and will work closely with regionally based GTOs and general managers in the region. Welles will continue to play an active role during the transition period with Doughty and on an ongoing
basis with certain customers.
