Bringg Announces Partnership with Arcos Dorados Covering McDonalds' Delivery in 12 Countries

Bringg powers more than 500 locations across Latin America for McDonalds' largest international franchisee, resulting in nearly half of delivery customers placing repeat online orders

Bringg Announces Partnership with Arcos Dorados Covering McDonalds' Delivery in 12 Countries

Bringg, the leading delivery orchestration platform, announced today a partnership with Arcos Dorados, McDonald's largest international franchisee, powering more than 500 restaurants across 11 countries in Latin America. Bringg has helped Arcos Dorados optimize their delivery operations and minimize the time it takes for orders to reach customers, ensuring that they quickly receive fresh food and enjoy a superior delivery experience.

Arcos Dorados chose Bringg to streamline their highly complex delivery operation, significantly increase their operational efficiency, and provide full control over the entire delivery process - from the accuracy of incoming orders, through the freshness of the food, and all the way to the customer experience provided by third party delivery providers. With Bringg's integration with Arcos Dorados' POS, employees can stay focused on in-store operations, communications with their partners are fully automated, and customers receive a personalized experience via the Arcos Dorados app.

The centralized Bringg platform handles all the McDelivery orders which come in from multiple sources and are delivered using more than a dozen fleets. Orders are intelligently assigned to a specific fleet based on distance, cost, and fleet performance, and prepared only when the assigned driver is close to the pickup location, ensuring that the food is fresh and that drivers don't crowd the restaurant while they wait.

"We began our relationship with Bringg in three stores and even from that early stage the impact was off the charts" said Luis Marcelo, Digital Director of Arcos Dorados "We went from being blind to being able to see everything, from customer preference and fleet performance, all the way to the exact time at which we need to make the food in order to ensure the best quality for the customer. After scaling across 11 countries, we couldn't be happier with the great leap in performance reaching nearly 1.5 million orders in Q1, and the equivalent jump in customer satisfaction."

"Arcos Dorados really sets the bar for innovation in the restaurant industry in Central and South America." said Tamir Gotfried, SVP & GM, Global Field Operations at Bringg "We're honored that they chose our solution, and the fact that they have scaled up this quickly demonstrates how forward thinking they are. The fact that nearly 50% of customers quickly return to place repeat orders shows that Arcos Dorados now provide a winning customer experience."

Australian supermarket chain rolls out AI-powered grocery carts

Grocery shoppers in Australia will soon be able to zip in and out of the store in record time, bypassing the lines for cashiers or self-checkout kiosks altogether. They can just walk in, make their selections, and walk out with their bags in hand.

The secret to this express shopping experience is the “Caper Cart,” an AI (artificial intelligence)-powered smart trolley from San Francisco-based Instacart. In its first deployment in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, the system is being tested by Coles Supermarkets, a food and beverage retailer with more than 1,800 grocery and liquor stores throughout the country.

How green is your glue?

If you’re looking to make the packaging process more eco-friendly, the obvious place to start is with the box itself. And that’s exactly what Salt Lake City-based Packsize did when it made its initial foray into sustainable packaging back in 2002. That year, the company launched its first product, an innovative on-demand packaging system designed to reduce cardboard waste (and the need for filler material) by creating a right-sized box for each shipment.
