TForce, CFI Logistics Launch Expanded Service Offering for Integrated Final-Mile Expedited Logistics

TFI International subsidiaries join forces to drive speed, convenience, dedicated capacity and reliability for high velocity, time-sensitive supply chains

TForce, CFI Logistics Launch Expanded Service Offering for Integrated Final-Mile Expedited Logistics

TForce and CFI Logistics, two operating companies of TFI International Inc. (TSX: TFII, OTCQX: TFIFF), a North American leader in the transportation and logistics industry, have launched a new integrated service combining one of the nation's largest dedicated final-mile delivery networks with truckload transportation assets and logistics management expertise to support high-velocity, time-definite supply chain operations.

Dallas-based TForce is North America's premier customized final-mile logistics company. By partnering with Joplin-based CFI Logistics, the company extends its service portfolio to include middle-mile trucking, transportation planning and optimization expertise and same-day final-mile delivery into a seamless, networked service offering, noted Scott Leveridge, U.S. President of TForce.

"We are uniquely positioning our company to drive value and superior service across a larger footprint of the customer's supply and fulfillment chain," he said. "As a result of this partnership, it's now a much deeper solution that adds middle-mile expertise to a premier network providing final-mile, same-day delivery advantage." Customers of both companies gain the added benefit of working with a single account executive they know and trust, providing one point of control and communications.

Same-day final-mile delivery, a TForce core competency, is a fast-growing segment of the transportation market. Reliable middle-mile trucking is critical to timely replenishment of inventories staged in TForce's last-mile distribution centers, which support rapid-response fulfillment of ecommerce orders. "Adding that middle-mile piece is a tremendous differentiator," Leveridge added.
"CFI Logistics is seeing rapidly increasing demand for broader services that can accelerate supply chain velocity, moving and staging goods sourced nationwide into strategic networks for last-mile delivery," noted Bill Carter, Vice President of CFI Logistics. "Joining the resources of TForce, which has one of the nation's most extensive and reliable final-mile delivery networks, with CFI Logistics' planning and optimization capabilities, and the extensive assets of CFI, brings a unique solution to the market that's ideally suited for these needs."

TForce operates a network of 60 distribution and product staging centers in the U.S., with nearly 4,400 dedicated last-mile delivery trucks, covering 92 percent of communities in the U.S. TForce's capabilities include expedited last mile service for parcel, package, freight and large-format goods delivered into homes or businesses. CFI Logistics provides complimentary supply chain planning, optimization and transportation management services to ensure optimal network operations, asset deployment and utilization, and supply chain productivity.

Importantly, with CFI's 35 years of experience and operations in Mexico, inbound cross-border goods from Mexico can now be seamlessly managed and expedited for delivery into TForce distribution centers, where they can then be staged for order fulfillment and final-mile delivery.

Lastly, customers benefit from the convenience and efficiency of managing one service provider for multiple needs, and receiving a single, consolidated invoice. "Time is money for our customers, so ease and efficiency of doing business and not having to manage multiple carriers and invoices becomes a key advantage," noted CFI Logistics' Carter.

The new integrated service is available starting this month. Customers can inquire of either their TForce or CFI Logistics representative for details and solution proposals.
