Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced Luis Arias has been promoted to service center manager in Miami, Florida.
With over 17 years of experience at Southeastern, Arias started his career at the Miami, Florida, service center as a part-time freight handler. Since then, he has served in a variety of roles, including office manager, outbound leader, inbound leader, pickup and delivery leader and operations manager and, most recently, assistant service center manager.
"Luis' undeniable commitment to our quality without question culture naturally positions him as a leader," said Mark Schwarzmueller, regional vice president of operations for Southeastern Freight Lines. "His outstanding track record and selfless values have consistently motivated those around him and we're excited to see his continued success as he embraces his new role within the Miami service center."
