East Coast Warehouse Names Ted Nelson Chief Information Officer

ELIZABETH, NJ - February 5, 2019 - East Coast Warehouse & Distribution, a leading temperature-controlled logistics provider to the food and beverage industry located on the Port of New York/New Jersey and in Philadelphia, has named Ted Nelson Chief Information Officer (CIO). A high-performance, transformational leader, Ted brings more than 20 years of technology experience in the logistics industry to both ECW and its executive team.

Ted is joining East Coast Warehouse from Alba Wine & Spirits in Edison, NJ, where he served as the Vice President of Information Technology. He has proven experience driving efficiencies throughout the supply chain process for industry-leading organizations such as NFI Industries, Taylored Services and Ozburn-Hessey (Geodis). Ted has a substantiated history of developing and executing enterprise-wide processes and procedures that increase productivity, quality and consistency by removing redundancies. Additionally, he has a strong background in leading large technology initiatives and projects, from design phase through implementation.

"In addition to his technical experience, Ted's talent in leading, mentoring and motivating staff members will be a tremendous asset," adds Overley.

Ted has a Bachelor of Science in computer science and information systems from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
