Scott Cousins Joins Redwood Logistics As Chief Technology Officer

CHICAGO - November 1, 2018 - Redwood Logistics (Redwood) announced today it has hired Scott Cousins as the company's Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Cousins will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting the technology solutions required to drive Redwood Logistics' operating excellence, innovation, and growth. As Chief Technology Officer, Cousins will provide the experience and leadership necessary to continue Redwood's pioneering development of next generation technology services for the freight management industry.

Cousins most recently served as the Chief Information Officer at Roadrunner Transportation, where he led the company's digital transformation, which included overhauling core operational platforms for its brokerage and carrier operating entities. Prior to joining Roadrunner, Cousins spent 10 years as the Chief Information Officer at KeHE Distributors. At KeHE, he guided the company through two major acquisitions, revamped multiple systems, and played a leadership role in contributing to the company's strong culture. Cousins' digital initiatives and leadership experience have had a profound impact on various customer, vendor, broker, and employee touch points during his career.
