NFI, a leading supply chain provider headquartered in Cherry Hill, N.J., recently announced the promotion of Bob Knowles to President of Dedicated Transportation. With more than 2,400 tractors and 9,000 trailers across North America operated by over 2,500 drivers, Knowles will oversee NFI's asset-based operations and spearhead the company's continued growth in the area of dedicated transportation.Bob Knowles of NFI

Knowles is a 17-year veteran of NFI and started as a Project Manager before he became Director of Operations for the Northeast division, servicing some of NFI's largest customers. Shortly thereafter, he was then promoted to VP of Operations, and again to SVP of Operations in 2014, where he helped to align NFI's organizational structure and customer portfolio.

Knowles has been working within the logistics industry for 28 years, beginning his career at FedEx Ground, and later worked at Menlo Worldwide prior to joining NFI. Knowles obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management at Bryant University.
