Weber Logistics Adds 3 California Distribution Centers to Support Business Growth

Santa Fe Springs, CA, August 16, 2018 - Weber Logistics, a leading third party logistics company in the Western U.S., has opened three new California distribution centers to support client growth. Weber now operates 11 dedicated and shared-space warehouses across Southern and Northern California.

Weber's most recent expansion includes warehouses in the following locations:


EASTVALE, CA. This 301,000-square-foot warehouse is located in California's Inland Empire region and will serve multiple clients. Built in 2018, a portion of the facility is designed for food distribution, including 100,000 square feet of dedicated cool storage space. The warehouse is an FDA-registered food storage facility that will be subject to regular inspections by AIB International. The facility features 42 dock doors, 2 ground-level doors, and a complete RF-enabled environment for fast, accurate picking.

LONG BEACH, CA. This 42,000-square-foot California distribution center is located less than one mile from the port and will primarily support Weber's asset-based drayage fleet. The facility has a large container yard and is located minutes from the 710 Freeway, with direct access to the SR 103 Terminal Island Freeway. Located within the Overweight Corridor, this drayage hub will also support transloading and weight reduction for overweight container loads.

UNION CITY, CA. This 126,000-square-foot facility is dedicated to product distribution for a large paint manufacturer. Weber has maintained a specialty in chemical logistics for close to 50 years. Located between San Francisco and San Jose, the facility was custom built in 2018.

Weber's expanding network of California distribution centers is supported by a large, regional truck fleet for rapid distribution of products throughout the Western U.S. Weber's region-wide delivery solution can provide next-day service to 50 million consumers.
