Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced Keith Huggins will serve as vice president of business development and training.

With over 24 years of experience at Southeastern, Huggins began his career as an account manager in Columbia, South Carolina. Since then, he has served in a variety of roles including national account manager and most recently, regional vice president of sales.

"Keith's hard work and leadership have yielded company-leading results in our key focus areas," said Mike Heaton, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Southeastern Freight Lines. "He has set an exceptional example with his dedication to serving and developing those around him. Keith's capabilities are infinite, but his strategic selling skills along with his ability to develop and facilitate training material will be invaluable to our company and its employee development in the future."

Outside of business hours, Huggins teaches at the University of South Carolina in the Darla Moore School of Business.
