Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced Chris Rich has been promoted to service center manager in Fort Myers, Florida.
With over 13 years of experience at Southeastern, Rich started his career at the Tampa service center as a freight handler. Since then, he has served in a variety of roles, including quality assurance leader, inbound and outbound leader, inbound and outbound operations manager and, most recently, assistant service center manager in Miami, Florida.
"Throughout his time with Southeastern, Chris has demonstrated his commitment to providing quality service and advancing the company culture," said Matt Smith, regional vice president of operations. "With his great track record, we look forward to the leadership he will bring in his new role."
Rich will relocate with his wife, Nina, and two sons, and looks forward to serving the Southeastern team in this new capacity.
