3Gtms Showcases the Future of TMS Technology at Inaugural User Conference

TMS roadmap, expert insight and customer results help top 3PLs, brokers and shippers maximize ROI

3Gtms Showcases the Future of TMS Technology at Inaugural User Conference

DALLAS, May 2, 2018 — 3Gtms, Inc., a global provider of Tier 1 transportation management software, today unveiled the future of its 3G-TM transportation management system (TMS) at its first-ever user conference, iNNOVATE. The event also featured an array of industry experts and customer presentations that exemplify the creativity and partnership that maximize the value of 3G-TM.

As the lines between 3PLs and brokers blur while carriers move into the space, and as shippers consider whether to outsource their freight or use a dedicated fleet, an investment in 3G-TM to flexibly manage transportation needs is more important than ever - and so is the ROI to prove its worth. At iNNOVATE, 3Gtms unveiled its product roadmap for delivering the most powerful and flexible TMS on the market. It includes:

• The industry-first offering of continuous pool optimization, giving users the ability to plan shipments in to a predetermined consolidating point or dynamically determine the optimal consolidation facility. This maximizes achievable freight savings while adhering to pickup and delivery constraints; improves customer service; and may eliminate the need for warehouses or distribution centers.
• Multi-leg, multi-contract intermodal options, which allow for each leg of an intermodal route to be planned and managed independently, resulting in optimal order routing based on cost and service.
o Once routed, users can execute (tender, track and pay) each leg independently and trigger an activity to occur (such as tender destination dray) dependent on the progression of the preceding legs.
• Throughout multiple releases, a new, improved user experience will be delivered for brokerage/transactional load management to increase efficiency and productivity.

In addition, 3Gtms customers at iNNOVATE shared their results of successful implementations and impressive ROIs, including Crowley Logistics. Crowley chose 3Gtms as the TMS provider of its Department of Defense contract, which was one of the largest TMS industry agreements in 2016. Presenter Bob Weist, vice president, North America transportation at Crowley, noted, "Our partnership with 3Gtms is the only IT software project I've been a part of where the software worked as designed on initial implementation."

iNNOVATE takes place May 1-3 in Dallas. More than 130 industry professionals have gathered to build stronger peer connections and get an in-depth look at the most cutting-edge TMS technology on the market. Go here for more details and the full conference agenda.
