Atlanta, GA — (February 1, 2018)—Dachser USA Air & Sea Logistics Inc. has been named Chamberlain Group Supplier of the Year at the 2017 CGI Supplier Summit.

Chamberlain Group (CGI), the parent company to LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Merlin and Grifco, is a global leader in access solutions and products. "Dachser USA is honored to be recognized for our services by Chamberlain Group," said Vincent Clucas, Account Manager Chamberlain Group and Vice President, Dachser USA. "We look forward to continuing this partnership in the coming years."

Dachser USA's contribution to improving CGI's supply chain protocol also include establishing several buyers' consolidation programs from China, Hong Kong, and Italy into CGI manufacturing facilities in Nogales, Mexico and Tucson, Arizona.

"Dachser demonstrated its dedication and commitment to Chamberlain Group by consistently providing superior commitment, expertise and tailoring innovative solutions to support our continuous efforts to improve," said Alex Raptis, Director, Transportation & Customs of Chamberlain Group.

Dachser USA also eliminated costly transportation load processes in LAX, further reducing lead times; and established logistics processes for CGI's vendor-managed inventory (VMI) program for suppliers worldwide. "From ocean freight consolidation efforts in Asia, transpacific freight forwarding to the domestic transportation and Customs Brokerage, Dachser exemplifies and understands CGI's corporate culture," Raptis said.
