LLamasoft Named a 2017 National Best and Brightest Company to Work For

Company Nationally Recognized for its Commitment to Excellence in Human Resources Practices and Employee Enrichment

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (January 24, 2018) - LLamasoft, a global leader in supply chain optimization software and solutions, today announced that it has been named a National Winner in the 2017 Best and Brightest Company to Work For, due to its outstanding corporate culture and employee engagement initiatives. The recognition comes on the heels of LLamasoft's September 2017 distinction as one of Metro Detroit's 2017 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For.

The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For program identifies organizations that demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their human resource practices and employee enrichment. Organizations are evaluated based on categories such as communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition, retention and more.

LLamasoft offers a variety of benefits and perks to its employees, including four weeks of vacation, maternity and paternity leave, flexibility in the option to work from home and monthly employee events such as wine tastings, yoga on the patio, happy hours, chair massages, ice cream bars and more. Community service and involvement is also a key tenet of life at LLamasoft, and the company is proud to support community organizations including the Huron Valley Humane Society, Kids Against Hunger, and the Network for Good.

"I am proud of the culture we have at LLamasoft, one built on mutual respect, continuous learning, collaboration and opportunity," said Don Hicks, President and CEO of LLamasoft. "We strive to maintain a culture where every single employee is fully engaged, supported, and able to contribute their meaningful best work, which is critical not only for our success at LLamasoft, but for the success of our customers."

The company also utilizes a unique performance management and employee engagement tool which empowers its team by offering monthly coaching instead of annual reviews, creating a process of continuous feedback, realistic goal setting and real-time recognition. One of LLamasoft's core values speaks directly to its company culture and the importance of enabling an optimal work-life balance for all employees: "we work to live, we don't live to work."

"It's an honor to be recognized on both a national and regional level by the Best and Brightest Places to Work program," added Craig Wigley, Vice President of Employee Success at LLamasoft. "Our company has experienced tremendous annual growth over the last five years, so it is a priority - and a competitive advantage - for us to make LLamasoft a great place to work. We want to attract the best talent there is and empower them to solve big problems for our customers every day."
