Blue Ridge, a provider of comprehensive, cloud-native supply chain planning solutions, today announced that Florida-based retailer City Furniture has selected Blue Ridge's industry-leading cloud-native supply chain planning technology to support its growth and optimize inventory levels in both distribution centers and stores.

Blue Ridge technology will help City Furniture connect its supply chain operations with consumer demand, enhancing the customer experience at the retailer's 29 locations in Florida by ensuring products are available at the right time and place without excessive investments in inventory and logistics.

"City Furniture is undergoing an IT modernization initiative and Blue Ridge is a large piece of the puzzle," said Shaun Feraco, Managing Director of Operations for City Furniture. "Blue Ridge will help us improve our supply chain processes, and will allow us to grow our business without growing inventory levels. We look forward to building a long and prosperous partnership."

"City Furniture has been an innovator in the furniture industry since its founding in 1971 and this investment further shows their dedication to innovation that will better serve their customers," said Jim Byrnes, CEO of Blue Ridge. "Blue Ridge is committed to helping City Furniture by anticipating and forecasting customer demand and matching that demand with inventory on hand."

Blue Ridge, a leader in the most recent Gartner Magic Quadrant for Supply Chain Planning, provides companies like City Furniture with enhanced insight into demand by translating customer data into precise and economically-driven demand and supply plans. Blue Ridge helps organizations reduce costs, improve service levels, and assure product availability to customers without creating a surplus of misaligned inventory.

Blue Ridge will host BLUEPrint 2018 in Atlanta on April 22 - April 24, 2018 at the Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta™. BLUEPrint is a hands-on annual conference for supply chain leaders, managers and users of Blue Ridge solutions.
