Alliance Shippers Inc., Announces the Appointment of New President and CEO, Jonathan Lefcourt

Englewood Cliffs, NJ — Alliance Shippers Inc., a global provider of logistic services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathan Lefcourt as the company's new President and Chief Executive Officer. With more than 34 years of experience in the industry, Lefcourt will lead one of North America's premier, privately owned global logistics and transportation companies.

Son of the late Ronald Lefcourt, the company's co-founder, Jonathan joined Alliance Shippers after graduating college. For the past 25 years, Lefcourt served as Vice President of Information Technology. During this period, Lefcourt instituted new systems and technologies that spurred improved company-wide efficiencies and significant growth.


Lefcourt's extensive experience in transportation and logistics began as a teenager on the loading docks at Selective Transportation. Throughout his tenure with Alliance Shippers Inc., Lefcourt has gained greater responsibility and deeper understanding of the company's many important divisions. These areas include customer relations, inventory management, supply chain warehousing and consolidation, and information technologies.

"I've had oversight responsibilities of our company's services and divisions," Lefcourt said. "I believe in a hands-on approach and I understand Alliance Shippers' greatest strengths."

Jonathan graduated summa cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Jonathan and his wife, together with their two children, are actively involved with Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, New Jersey.
