SmartDrive SmartSense is a new line of intelligent driver assist sensors designed to identify distracted driving at the root cause. The first sensor in the SmartSense suite, SmartSense for Distracted Driving, detects when a driver is distracted or inattentive and triggers a video recording based on driver behavior alone. The sensor uses infrared sensors to capture distraction and alerts fleet managers so they can prioritize review and risk scoring accordingly. SmartSense for Distracted Driving merges sensor, vehicle and environmental data to create a convergence of information that better equips fleets for a more autonomous-focused world.
