Jungheinrich® Driving Innovation Roadshow Heads Across the United States of America

Year-long road trip powered by MCFA will bring the EFG 220 electric pneumatic forklift and the exclusive "2 Shifts, 1Charge" guarantee to the doorsteps of customers

Jungheinrich® Driving Innovation Roadshow Heads Across the United States of America

Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc. (MCFA), the provider of Jungheinrich® lift trucks and narrow-aisle products in the United States, Canada and Mexico, today announced the start of the 2017-2018 Jungheinrich Driving Innovation Roadshow. The 56 ft. branded trailer left Houston today and is ready for a cross-country trip along the Gulf Coast, up the Eastern seaboard to New England and Canada, and onto the Midwest before heading to the West Coast and back home to Texas.

Unlike typical roadshow events, this event provides forklift operators the chance to not only experience the EFG 220 electric counterbalanced forklifts first-hand in their application, but also take the Jungheinrich "2 Shifts, 1 Charge" challenge. Under this challenge, customers will see and learn how the energy efficient design of Jungheinrich lift trucks set a new standard in run times.

"During the Driving Innovation Roadshow, customers will have the real-world opportunity to experience the difference that an energy-efficient lift truck can make on their operation," said Kent Eudy, executive vice president of sales and marketing at MCFA. "The ability to run two shifts on one battery charge is a game changer for most operations. This translates into both time and cost savings - often thousands of dollars depending on the fleet size."

The EFG 220 electric lift truck is equipped with the newest generation of AC technology and offers numerous advantages like minimal energy consumption, industry-leading drive and lift performance levels and superior operator comfort. Customers across the country will celebrate as lower maintenance costs and increased productivity become a reality with the ability to run two shifts on a single battery charge - guaranteed.
