Raymond Handling Celebrates 30 Years with Annual Pink Pallet Jack Project

Onsite and Online Events will Benefit 'The Tina Fund' and 'Northwest Hope and Healing' During Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Raymond Handling Celebrates 30 Years with Annual Pink Pallet Jack Project

AUBURN, Wash., October 16, 2017 - Raymond Handling Concepts Corporation (RHCC), a leading materials handling equipment supplier in Northern California and the Northwest, will be holding its fourth annual "Pink Pallet Jack Project" online auction in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month from October 17 to 27 on eBay. In addition to the annual auction, which has raised $120,000 over the last three years, the company will be hosting a 30th Anniversary event at the Auburn, Washington corporate office on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 11am-2pm. All proceeds raised from the auction and anniversary event will be donated to the Tina Fund in Greene, New York and Northwest Hope and Healing.

"Raymond Handling is proud to mark this annual event this year with our 30th anniversary," said Raymond Handling founder and president, Steve Raymond. "Our dedication to our community and employees is underscored by our passion for raising awareness for breast cancer and making contributions that count. We look forward to this years' auction and live event."

Anniversary Event
The open house style event will be held at the company's headquarters at 3500 W Valley HWY N suite 101, Auburn, WA 98001, and will feature Hors d'oeuvres, raffle prizes and live music, and a presentation by company leadership including Steve Raymond, Jason Thompson and Al Silar. Raymond Handling invites all of its customers and neighbors to come join in the fun, and help raise additional funds for these worthy charities that support families during breast cancer diagnosis and recovery.

Online Auction
For those that can't attend the event in person, the 10 day auction will begin on Tuesday, October 17 at 6 a.m. PT on eBay, where participants can bid on Raymond's pink 8210 Electric Pallet Truck. This particular model is ideal for retail store, wholesale delivery and food processing applications that require navigation in tight and/or congested areas. It also features Raymond's exclusive Click2Creep design, which overrides the upper brake position and automatically slows the travel speed, enabling improved maneuverability and more controlled operation.

The Pink Pallet Jack Project was initiated in 2014 by Steve Raymond and former RHCC executive Simon Walker when the duo were invited by local Greene, New York resident Shelly Howell to participate in a charity event benefiting the Tina Fund, a fund that Howell created in honor of her sister Tina Turner, who lost her courageous battle with breast cancer in 2011.
