ORN International gets smart with Snapfulfil Cloud WMS

ORN International gets smart with Snapfulfil Cloud WMS

Workwear wholesaler, ØRN International has successfully gone live with the Snapfulfil Cloud WMS.

Established in 2007, ØRN International is a family run business dedicated to providing high quality, cost effective products for the corporate clothing, workwear and promotional clothing markets.

The company operates a 55,000 sq ft warehouse in Buckingham which ships in the region of 10,000 garments per day, all despatched for next day delivery by midday. With multiple size and colour options for many products, the warehouse currently stocks in excess of 7,000 SKUs.

Having used various 3PLs for fulfilment, ØRN insourced the operation and began using a paper-based system to manage the warehouse. However, they quickly realised that a more sophisticated system was required to drive improvements in inventory management and efficiency, while handling the complexity and growth in the operation.

Following a review of four possible WMS vendors, ØRN determined that Snapfulfil met its requirements for both functionality and affordability.

ØRN's Financial Director, Cameron Tunley said: "The combination of functional sophistication, strong integration capabilities and the quality and commitment of its project management and implementation resources were all impressive and gave us absolute confidence in Snapfulfil. Their No Capex, pay monthly business model was also attractive to us."

Cameron concludes: "Ours is a highly competitive market which operates on tight margins, so running a lean and efficient warehousing and fulfilment operation is critical. As well as giving us proper visibility and control of our inventory, Snapfulfil is helping us to monitor and improve workforce productivity and will allow us to do more with the same resources as we continue to develop and grow our business."
