PeopleNet Appoints Bryan Coyne to Lead Truck Segment

PeopleNet® (www.peoplenetonline.com), a Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB) Company and leading provider of fleet mobility technology, announced that Bryan Coyne is serving as senior vice president/general manager, truck. Coyne, who previously served as vice president of national accounts, is responsible for driving growth and delivery of mobility solutions to the trucking market in North America. Coyne leads business strategy, go-to market strategy and overall execution of the segment.

"Bryan brings the strategic thinking and deep industry knowledge required to expand and scale our solutions to meet the needs of a diverse set of fleets across North America."


In his role, Coyne leads the Truck business unit as part of the PeopleNet Transportation group. The Transportation group is focused on the integration of vertical segments across PeopleNet and Trimble, including: PeopleNet Truck (Aftermarket) Solutions, PeopleNet OEM/Channels, Trimble Oil & Gas Services and Trimble Final-Mile Solutions.

A 20-year veteran of the transportation industry, Coyne joined PeopleNet in 2002 as its first national account manager. Prior to PeopleNet, he was an associate publisher at Commercial Carrier Journal (CCJ), a transportation industry publication catering to the business of freight transport. Coyne also holds the designation of Certified Transportation Professional® (CTP), a certification credential administered by the National Private Truck Council (NPTC) for professionals in the fleet management industry.
