Pelican BioThermal Customer Presents at IQPC's Cold Chain Canada

Biogen shares implementation of reusable shipper into complex supply chain

Pelican BioThermal Customer Presents at IQPC's Cold Chain Canada

(TORONTO - March 1, 2017) - Pelican BioThermal, the global leader in cold chain, providing the broadest and most innovative range of temperature-controlled packaging solutions serving the life sciences industry, will sponsor a speaker track session and showcase their latest innovations in temperature-controlled packaging during the IQPC's 15th Annual Cold Chain GDP & Temperature Management Logistics Summit - Canada in Toronto.

Pelican BioThermal customer, Biogen, will share the success story the biotechnology leader experienced in implementing a reusable shipper system for clinical trials. The session, previously presented to acclaim at IQPC's North American conference last September, is titled "Case Study: Exploring Biogen's Implementation of Reusable Shippers into Their Complex Supply Chain," and will be presented at 2: 35 p.m. today as part of "Case Study Track A."

"Clinical trial logistics spending continues to grow. Preventing temperature excursions for increasingly complex shipping lanes is at the forefront of spending discussions," said Kevin Lawler, Pelican BioThermal Vice President of Sales. "IQPC's cold chain event provides an excellent opportunity for those in the industry to better understand and qualify the options available, including reusable shipper systems, and to learn from the challenges others have experienced."

Pelican BioThermal will also display offerings during the show, including their reusable Credo™ shippers, the TIC™ Smart Indicator, Chronos™ Advance, and Chronos™ Express shippers. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about the flexibility of modular packaging with interchangeable components for trip duration or payload temperature to suit both single-use and reusable passive packaging needs.
