Austin, Texas - (February 7, 2017) - Arrive Logistics today announced Eric Harrison has been appointed as Chief Information Officer (CIO). This position was created for Mr. Harrison at Arrive Logistics to ensure the information technology and computer systems efficiently support enterprise goals during this period of rapid growth. As CIO, Mr. Harrison will be designing and managing all technology programs for the company and its officers.

With over 20 years of experience programming, DBA, CRM, management systems, and program development in the logistics industry, Mr. Harrison comes to Arrive from Coyote Logistics where he was Vice President of Software Development. During his time at Coyote Eric spent time leading all divisions within IT, including infrastructure, software development (both strategy and the entire development Life-cyle), service desk and EDI. His responsibilities included but were not limited to systems engineering, software development, database administration, disaster recovery, business continuity, and business resiliency. Mr. Harrison has also developed technology for American Backhaulers, C.H. Robinson and Command Transportation.

Starting his career at American Backhaulers, Mr. Harrison wrote its revolutionary Express software. After ABH's sale to C.H. Robinson, Mr. Harrison became Director of Corporate Technology and focused on seamlessly integrating the two IT cultures. Subsequently, Mr. Harrison was instrumental in the growth of Command Transportation. As CIO he managed the growth of IT operations as the company scaled from 25 users to many hundreds of users. Mr. Harrison is a lifelong learner, interested in many things. He is a private pilot, entrepreneur, gamer, technology lover, member of Mensa and more.
