Choptank Transport offers one of the Hottest Employee Benefits of 2017

Forbes recently featured an article citing student loan repayment programs as one of the biggest draws for attracting new employees in 2017. The article reports that only 4% of companies currently offer such a benefit. That makes Choptank Transport one of the 4%ers.
The expanding third-party logistics company located in Preston, Maryland has grown rapidly through innovation and has been a magnet for millennials looking for a fast-track career. The Student Loan Pay-Down Program is one of two new educational assistance packages the company is now offering to help its employees move forward in life and continue to grow.
Announced this week to audible cheers throughout the building, Choptank's Student Loan Pay-Down Program is a hit. Student loan debt is a major economic issue in our country. In many cases, college graduates may have to put off buying their first home indefinitely due to the student debt they are already carrying. This program will pay off these outstanding loans and help employees alleviate debt more quickly. It is open to all employees that meet the required criteria.
Additionally, the company's new Education Assistance Program is open to employees who wish to pursue related degrees at an accredited college or university. This is especially helpful for those who have been considering going back to school but haven't been able to finance it.
Employees from Choptank have voiced their appreciation with e-mails and comments to management across all departments. One recent thumbs-up came from a logistics coordinator who said, "I just want to say this is Awesome! I am ecstatic to learn about the Student Loan Pay-Down Program and am really thankful to work for a company that cares for its employees." Another employee from Choptank's payroll department said, "I think it's amazing and I can't wait to take advantage of the program to help get my BA in accounting."
Choptank Transport continues to hire aggressively in Preston as well as its outside offices in Tampa, Dallas, Atlanta and Denver. For more information go to www.choptanktransport.com/careers.
