(CINCINNATI: Oct. 13, 2016)—In less than a month, more than 45,000 attendees from over 130 countries will descend upon McCormick Place in Chicago from Nov. 6-9 for PACK EXPO International 2016. Intelligrated® (www.intelligrated.com) will highlight its full system integration capabilities and showcase the newly enhanced Alvey® 891i palletizer, vertical conveyor, robotic depalletizing and roller conveyor solutions in booth S-3666.

The in-booth demonstration features the updated 891i palletizer and a robotic depalletizing cell, integrated with vertical reciprocating conveyor and motor driven roller (MDR) conveyor. The solutions on display are ideal for food, beverage and consumer packaged goods operations that have reduced or eliminated secondary packaging, requiring equipment to handle display cases, poly-wrapped bundles, paper-board overwrap packs with high resolution graphics and more.

"Today's operations face real challenges, from housing a wider variety of inventory and working in limited space, to demanding targets for throughput and uptime," said Matt Wicks, vice president, product development, manufacturing systems. "This climate requires solutions designed to deliver efficiency and handle complexity, while offering the simplicity of single-source integration, easy-to-use interfaces, maximum reliability and efficient layouts. PACK EXPO provides a valuable opportunity for attendees to see solutions firsthand and get expert input from material handling experts."

Intelligrated's Alvey 891i palletizer offers an updated user-friendly design that provides exceptional versatility and maintainability. Ideal for both single and multi-line operations, this high-level, row-forming palletizer manages intricate stacking patterns and handles various package types such as packaged food, beverage, converted paper and personal care products. The 891i also includes enhanced features for improved safety, ease of use and maintenance.

Booth visitors can learn about the company's comprehensive automation solutions and deep integration experience. Intelligrated is recognized by the Robotic Industries Association as a certified robot integrator, and offers end-of-arm tooling to handle a variety of applications and product types, designed and built in-house. All robotic solutions seamlessly integrate with the company's other automation technologies, including MDR conveyor and vertical conveyor that offer simple, efficient solutions for reliable control of cartons and totes in high-throughput operations.
