Oskar Blues Brewery selects HighJump Brewer's Edge

Craft brewery seeks a seamlessly integrated inventory management and eCommerce platform solution for increased customer satisfaction

Oskar Blues Brewery selects HighJump Brewer's Edge

MINNEAPOLIS (Oct. 6, 2016) — HighJump, a global provider of supply chain network solutions, announced today that Oskar Blues Brewery has selected the HighJump™ Brewer's Edge warehouse management solution (WMS) and eCommerce platform. Oskar Blues Brewery, based in Longmont, Colo., is the first American craft brewery to put its own craft beer in cans and has expanded from one brewery to three with additional locations in North Carolina and Texas.
Oskar Blues Brewery previously had two separate systems for inventory control and eCommerce that were unable to efficiently communicate. Having these unintegrated solutions that could not scale with growth caused its beer distribution in all 50 U.S. states to become a logistical puzzle. By implementing HighJump Brewer's Edge, the craft brewery will achieve real-time inventory visibility to provide accurate information of available products to internal and external customers.
HighJump Brewer's Edge WMS and eCommerce platform are cloud-based, functionality-rich modules of the HighJump AccellosOne WMS and Nexternal eCommerce platform to streamline brewery operations from order capture to fulfillment through delivery.
"Not having that real-time snapshot of available inventory caused immense extra work for our employees who would have to manually update the systems," said Logan Craven, VP of finance at Oskar Blues Brewery. "We now have the opportunity to reinvest in our business instead of additional resources needed to maintain the infrastructure."
"HighJump Brewer's Edge is connecting the entire craft brewing industry through our integrated network," said Jackson Bilbrey, VP of product management at HighJump. "We are excited to partner with Oskar Blues Brewery to deliver specialized configurations exclusively designed for the craft brewing industry allowing for its operations to reach that next level."

About Oskar Blues Brewing
Founded by Dale Katechis in 1997 in Lyons, Colorado, Oskar Blues Brewery launched the craft beer-in-a-can apocalypse with hand-canned, flagship brew Dale's Pale Ale. Today, Oskar Blues is one of the fastest growing breweries in the country and operates breweries in Longmont, Colorado and Brevard, North Carolina, while producing 192,000 barrels in 2015. The original canned craft brewery continues push innovation with the opening of their Austin, TX brewery in July of 2016 and creations like The Crowler while it distributes to all 50 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., as well as parts of Puerto Rico, Canada, Sweden, the U.K. and Australia.
