Safari Ltd Selects HighJump AccellosOne Warehouse Management System

Worldwide educational toy distributor seeks flexible WMS to support new demands for omnichannel distribution

Safari Ltd Selects HighJump AccellosOne Warehouse Management System

MINNEAPOLIS (Sept. 27, 2016) — HighJump, a global provider of supply chain network solutions, announced today that Safari Ltd® has chosen the HighJump™ AccellosOne Warehouse Management Solution (WMS) to improve inventory visibility and enhance its order fulfillment processes. Safari Ltd is an American, family-owned manufacturer and worldwide distributor of more than 1,000 educational, hand-painted figurines.

Safari Ltd, based in Miami Lakes, FL, can now efficiently service its nearly 17,000 domestic and international customers. Drop shipping orders directly to distributors, end consumers, retailers, etailers, gift shops and more is painless with the capabilities of AccellosOne WMS.

"With the new WMS, we've seen immediate benefits in terms of inventory and sales order accuracy, efficient labor productivity, maximum space utilization and end-to-end supply chain transparency," said Safari Ltd CEO Alexandre Pariente.

The company faced challenges meeting the delivery and processing timeframes expected by its retail customers. With the previous WMS, it was routine for orders with over 400 lines to take hours to release to the warehouse for picking. Once picking began, it could take more than 30 seconds for each barcode scan to process.

SupplySoft, a trusted HighJump partner, identified AccellosOne WMS as the solution to solve the inefficiencies of the previous WMS. Shortly after, SupplySoft and the Safari ERP team successfully implemented the software at its 100,000-square-foot distribution center.

"Because of the issues related to the company's previous WMS and the complications affecting its business, Safari had a tight timeframe of 90 days to have a fully functional WMS with seamless integration to SAP Business One HANA," said Humberto Rodriguez, managing partner at SupplySoft. "We were able to deliver on that commitment thanks to the hard work of everyone involved in the project, especially Safari's devoted ERP team."

"Since we just launched our new website, we needed entirely new processes and procedures to fulfill multiple order types and support our eCommerce initiatives for the future," said Javier Silva, director of information technology at Safari Ltd. "We couldn't afford to have inaccurate inventory controls anymore. With the AccellosOne WMS, we now have the confidence we need to continue satisfying our customers via new revenue streams."

"Remaining profitable and competitive in this dynamic environment has added layers of complexity to a distributor's supply chain, as it must find a sustainable method to fulfill both traditional retail and eCommerce orders," HighJump General Manager Carl Marin said. "Our enhanced eFulfillment capabilities are built to streamline high-volume internet retail operations with consideration for the challenges modern businesses face. This will allow Safari to stay ahead of the curve and take advantage of omnichannel opportunities today and in the future."
