VARGO® welcomes new supply chain business analyst

VARGO®, a leading provider of material-handling system integration, warehouse execution software and equipment solutions for major fulfillment and distribution centers, has hired Christopher Simmons as a supply chain business analyst.

In this capacity, Simmons will develop mathematical modeling programming that will help internal staff determine client needs and validate data.


"Christopher has been a great asset to our company as an intern, and we are excited to see him grow into this new role," said Bart Cera, COO and CFO for VARGO®. "He will be a wonderful addition to VARGO®'s team."

Prior to joining VARGO® as a full-time employee, Simmons interned at VARGO® from May 2015 to June 2016, working on the mathematical modeling project. Also during college, he worked as a foreman and managed teams at two landscaping companies after working as a laborer at Ohio Mulch Landscape Supply.

Simmons graduated in June 2016 from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Simmons grew up in Dublin and graduated from Dublin Jerome High School.

He currently lives in Columbus, Ohio (ZIP code 43212).
