ShipX Becomes FreightorGator in Company Rebranding

ShipX Unveils New Branding to Coincide with Launch of Exclusive Direct Rates from Leading Carriers; Temporarily Waives Booking Fee as Introduction to New Brand

ShipX Becomes FreightorGator in Company Rebranding

ShipX, the Kansas City-based online freight exchange, today announces the company's rebrand to become FreightorGator, effective immediately. In addition to a new name, FreightorGator unveils a new logo and redesigned website, www.freightorgator.com, which culminates to better reflect the company's character and mission to save less-than-truckload shippers time and money through modern technology. The unveiling of the new FreightorGator brand coincides with the introduction of newly negotiated direct rates from some of the industry's leading carriers and a temporary waive on FreightorGator's $25 booking fee.

"We're thrilled to announce our new name and brand to the transportation industry," said Augie Grasis, CEO and founder of FreightorGator. "ShipX was an old name representing a new idea. It is time for our name to match the mold breaking, time and cost saving online service we provide to help small businesses simplify their LTL shipping."

In the spirit of alliteration, FreightorGator is saying later to LTL middlemen, later to high freight prices for small businesses, later to complicated and ambiguous rates from third party logistics companies, and later to endless phone conversations with freight brokers. With a new way to compare rates, book and track shipments, FreightorGator is the new frontier in LTL shipping.

Under its new name, FreightorGator will retain its core service offering to provide LTL shippers a modern and streamlined approach to booking freight, but through FreightorGator's newly negotiated, exclusive direct rates from top LTL carriers, including YRC, Old Dominion and XPO, customers are getting the very best volume prices to choose from. In FreightorGator's seamless "one-stop-shop" process, after a customer enters their shipment's size, weight, origin and destination, FreightorGator will quickly aggregate shipping results from 25 plus leading LTL carriers for the customer to compare and then book their shipments. The system automatically dispatches carriers for pickups and customers are able to track their shipment until it arrives to its destination.

"Small businesses are often unable to negotiate fair, reasonable rates because they don't ship frequently at a high volume," said Grasis. "Now, LTL shippers are able to get the very best volume prices exclusively from FreightorGator while enjoying a simple, online user experience."
