Old Dominion Opens Brownsburg Service Center

Facility will allow for greater coverage of Indianapolis area

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (May 17, 2016) — Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. hosted an official opening for its newest service center, a 63-door facility located at 1120 E. Northfield Drive in Brownsburg, IN 46112.

The Brownsburg Service Center, strategically located near Interstates 74, 65 and 70 expands Old Dominion's footprint in the Indianapolis area with 380 doors and over 600 employees.


The Thomasville, N.C.-based less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier, has five service centers in Indiana. Locations include Brownsburg, Indianapolis, Evansville, South Bend and Fort Wayne.

"With nearly 80 employees, the opening of this 18-acre service center will allow Old Dominion to continue to provide the premium service our customers have come to expect," said Mark Cox, Brownsburg service center manager for Old Dominion. "OD is committed to this area and helping the community grow."

Old Dominion purchased and remodeled the Brownsburg state-of-the-art facility. The service center will provide the space and resources necessary to increase capacity, grow business and hire more employees. This location allows for even more growth and the ability to add 50 more doors in the future.

The Brownsburg Service Center serves a number of cities in the area, including Lafayette, Anderson, Lebanon, Brownsburg and Crawfordsville.
