Top Team Joins Cushman & Wakefield, Global Occupier Services, and Michael Condon Jr. joins Capital Markets and Industrial Practice

Cushman & Wakefield has welcomed five senior appointments - four to its Global Occupier Services, in Downtown Los Angeles, and, Michael Condon, Jr. joins the Capital Markets and Industrial team as Executive Managing Director. The new appointments, which includes, industry veteran Michael Condon, Sr., have joined the firm from Jones Lang LaSalle.

Andrew McDonald, Executive Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield's Greater Los Ange-les/Orange County region, said there are few people in the commercial real estate services industry that can rival the work done by the four-person team joining Global Occupier Services.

In welcoming Michael Condon, Jr. to the Capital Markets and Industrial team, Andrew said: "Mike has a broad and accomplished practice, including but not limited to investment sales, leasing, and redevelopment projects. In 2015, Mike was the top producing industrial broker nationally at his pre-vious firm, and we're thrilled to have him continue this success with our firm."

The Global Occupier Services team appointments include:

Michael Condon, Sr., Executive Vice President, Portfolio Solutions, Global Occupier Ser-vices, joins as a Portfolio Solutions leader for the West Region. Michael has a career spanning over 35 years in the industry. His primary focus is to assist the firm's brokers in the pursuit of multi-service opportunities. Michael is recognized as an innovative leader with corporate real estate cus-tomers who utilize outsourcing as a management tool to improve performance. His career has been dedicated to providing highly individualized real estate solutions including strategic advisory, portfolio optimization, lease administration, transaction management and facility management services for multi-national corporations in a single offering. Long term clients include Toyota, Honeywell, Raytheon, and Disney.

Brendan O'Shaughnessy, Managing Director, has more than 21 years of account management experience assisting Fortune 100 clients with developing and implementing real estate strategies, portfolio management, portfolio alignment, and strategic site selection. Brendan will play an instru-mental role in building the firm's corporate client practice while continuing to grow and expand its corporate client base.

Stephen Brey, Managing Director, brings 30 years of experience to the firm. He is a specialist in all facets of real estate management and highly skilled in negotiations with expertise in streamlining operations for project locations across the globe. Stephen is experienced in environmental as-sessments, performance enhancement and privatization services to all kinds of clients, the man-agement of properties, facilities, construction and renovation projects, and the development of stra-tegic facility plans. Having represented several Fortune 100 companies' portfolios and successfully transacting thousands of property transactions throughout his career, Stephen will focus on building a greater Global Occupier Services team while continuing to serve Cushman & Wakefield's ex-isting elite client base.

Michelle Fajardo, Managing Director, has more than 10 years of strategic decision-making expe-rience in a corporate end user environment. Michelle brings a unique perspective to the Global Oc-cupier Services team in delivering real estate portfolio and transaction solutions to corporate cli-ents. Having navigated customer alignment, enterprise wide strategic planning, decision support, business case development, and process improvements within CRE, Michelle will build on business development opportunities within brokerage and other service lines across the platform.

Joining the Capital Markets and Industrial team, Mike Condon, Jr., Executive Managing Director, has recently participated in Downtown LA redevelopment transactions for projects such as the Hoxton Hotel at 1060 S. Broadway, The Proper Hotel at 1106 S. Broadway, and the Spice Factory conversion in the Arts District. In his industrial practice, Mike has sourced land for institutional clients like Panattoni Development, Goodman Birtcher, and Overton Moore Properties in the South Bay and continues to assist these clients on the backend stabilization.
