InfinityQS Earns ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 27001:2013 Certifications

FAIRFAX, Va. - Feb. 24, 2016 - InfinityQS International, Inc., the global authority on real-time quality and Manufacturing Intelligence, has achieved International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001: 2015 and 27001: 2013 certifications. By meeting the extensive criteria for these standards, the company affirms its ability to consistently deliver effective quality management systems, comply with security requirements, and drive continuous improvements to products, services, and internal processes.

"Our goal is to provide our clients with software and services to improve quality across the enterprise so they can become more competitive in their respective marketplaces," said Michael Lyle, president and CEO, InfinityQS. "By obtaining the ISO 9001: 2015 and 27001: 2013 certifications, we are demonstrating our commitment to our clients' successes, as well as our dedication to making our own organization more efficient. As a result, we can best serve our customers and provide more value through our enterprise quality management solutions."

The world's most popular quality management system standard, ISO 9001: 2015 helps businesses prove their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Obtained through thorough, external audits performed by an independent accredited registrar company, the certification aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of a company's system, including processes for improving the system and assuring compliance with various regulations.

ISO 27001: 2013 is the strictest international standard available for Information Security Management. By implementing the necessary steps to comply with this standard, organizations can identify, control, and eliminate security risks, ultimately certifying the security practices adopted within their organization. The certification is achieved via a systematic and rigorous external examination of an organization's information security risk profile that takes into account any threats or vulnerabilities. The certification earns customers' trust that their data are protected.

"The ISO 27001: 2013 certification is especially important for InfinityQS as our ProFicient software offering includes a cloud deployment option to collect and aggregate quality data for enterprises all over the globe," Lyle continued. "However, many manufacturers are hesitant to embrace cloud offerings due to security concerns. By following the best practices required by the ISO 27001: 2013 standard, we prove that we have employed the proper security measures with our software, hardware, and facilities. This should assuage clients' concerns so we can help them realize the benefits of the cloud to improve product quality, reduce costs, and make better business decisions."
