U.S. Military Humvees being Auctioned to Benefit Fisher House Foundation

PLEASANTON, Calif. - February 3, 2016

Who:
IronPlanet®, the leading online marketplace for buying and selling used heavy equipment and trucks, has added a fifth day to its annual unreserved public auction in Kissimmee, FL. Already one of the industry's most anticipated events of 2016, IronPlanet's Cat Auction Services sale will start Monday, Feb. 8, and end on Friday, Feb. 12.

Ring Power Corporation of St. Augustine, FL, one of the largest Cat dealers in North America, is hosting what has become IronPlanet's biggest unreserved public auction yet. The sale will feature items from independent Cat dealers, leading OEMs, dealers, construction companies, rental companies, financial institutions, and other large fleet owners; view the entire list at www.ironplanet.com/Florida.

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at lunchtime, IronPlanet will auction one High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), or Humvee, per day from its GovPlanet® marketplace, with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit the Fisher House Foundation. Fisher House foundation assists vets and military families with travel and housing to be near hospitalized service members, and provides scholarship money to military families (www.fisherhouse.org).
