Packing and palletizing equipment vendor Schneider Packaging Equipment Co. Inc. has promoted company veteran Bob Brotzki to president, replacing company owner owner Rick Schneider, the firm said Tuesday.
Schneider will continue to serve as CEO of the Brewerton, N.Y.-based firm, which makes case packing, sealing, and palletizing equipment for consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies. Brotzki, who will now oversee daily operations, began his career with Schneider Packaging about two years ago when he was hired as director of sales and marketing, the company said.
The news comes a year after the firm opened a training lab at its upstate New York headquarters in order to teach customers and employees how to use material handling equipment such as robotic palletizers, Schneider and FANUC robotics, pallet-generation software, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electric servo motors.
