We're used to winning awards for our print publications, DC Velocity and CSCMP's Supply Chain Quarterly. But we're now proud to announce that we've also been recognized for excellence in video production. The American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) has presented Senior Editor, Special Projects and eContent David Maloney with two awards for Move It!, our "Web TV" show about logistics. Maloney received two "Azbees"—a Silver National Award and a Gold Regional Award (Mid-Atlantic Region)—in the Online Excellence-Video Tutorial category.

Move It! is a series of "behind the scenes" films about warehousing, transportation, and logistics. (A great way to show friends and family what you do for a living, by the way.) Maloney, who has experience as a television news reporter and producer, scripts, hosts, films, and edits the Move It! shows.

FMCSA rule would require greater broker transparency

The “series B” funding round was financed by an unnamed “strategic customer” as well as Teradyne Robotics Ventures, Toyota Ventures, Ranpak, Third Kind Venture Capital, One Madison Group, Hyperplane, Catapult Ventures, and others.

The trucking freight market is still on course to rebound from a two-year recession despite stumbling in September, according to the latest assessment by transportation industry analysis group FTR.
